WHAT IS CHEERFUL GLOBE
Cheerful Globe is a blog founded by a young student who simply enjoys making the world a better place. This blog/project has been launched in autumn 2015. The main aim of this project is to inform young people, and also others, about the problems and things, which happen out of our "comfort zone", in the world we don´t know a lot about. Besides my own projects, Cheerful Globe also serves as a way how to support other organizations and initiatives.
THE MISSION
I believe that everyone has a right to live in dignity. Everyone has a right to have an access to basic human needs, such as clean drinking water, education and employment opportunities, access to health care. Through various projects, Cheerful Globe tries to provide the disadvantaged and poor children school supplies, clothes, food and a chance to attend schools or be home schooled. Apart from supporting children, the projects support families, individual groups of youths/students and others, who we try to help and make their lives better. Everybody has same and equal opportunities and only because somebody was born into worse conditions, he shouldn´t suffer and be anyhow disadvantaged.
WHY CHEERFUL GLOBE
Why is this blog/project called Cheerful Globe? Everyone deserves to be happy and full of joy, not to suffer or to be sad. You probably noticed how much your face expression can affect your mood and your surroundings. There are so many different nations, colours of skin, religions, opinions and now try to imagine that all those countries and nationalities have their own languages, accents and tribe languages and it is almost impossible to understand everything if not all of us are experienced polyglots who can speak numerous languages. But there is one gesture which everybody understands - smile. It helps to create new friendships, breaks the walls between different cultures, because everyone simply understands and knows that one move which is made by our lips. And there is nothing better and easier than to share this smile with others and make happy somebody else.
